My Brother:

Judicious: "...having, exercising, or characterized by good or discriminating judgment; wise, sensible..."
Jailbird: "...a person who is or has been confined in jail...."

Some might argue that a judicious person doesn't often become a jailbird.
Others may argue that a jailbird cannot be judicious.

I say my brother is both judicious and a jailbird, and he would tell you that exercising "good or discriminating judgment" is not how he came to be incarcerated.  I assume most people are imprisoned due to mistakes or unfairness, but this blog isn't meant to argue either of those points.  This blog is meant to be an extension of my family.

I have several siblings and I truly believe each and every one of them are the most interesting people I have ever met and will ever know.  How we all grew up in the same household and became the ridiculously unique people we each are today is beyond me.  At this point in each of our lives, we have all fallen in different places around the globe, in apartments, trailer homes, owned homes, rented homes, North, South, East, West; and one of my brothers is housed by a prison.  We love him dearly.  And somehow, in the years he has been housed by those walls, he really has become judicious.  Some of us occasionally trail behind him in that endeavor.  He loves us unconditionally.
